Jawa Motorcycles joined hands with the Indian Army on this occasion and paid tribute to all the jawans who were martyred in the Kargil War of 1999. On this occasion, the company included a caravan of 75 motorcycles which rode to Kargil.

Classic Legends on Monday announced that on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Jawa Motorcycles and the Indian Army have joined hands for the Dhruv Kargil Ride, a ride to mark the Army’s victory and celebrate India’s 75th Independence Day. is a series. As part of the Dhruv Kargil Ride, 75 Jawa motorcycles and riders from the Indian Army have been divided into four groups.
The main ride was flagged off from the Dhruv War Memorial by Subedar Sanjay Kumar, PVC at Headquarters Northern Command at Udhampur, which included 25 riders on Jawa motorcycles led by Lt Gen YK Joshi. The team took a ride to the Kargil War Memorial in Dras. Other rides were flagged off from Nowshera, Srinagar and the Karakoram Pass, completing the count of 75 motorcycles to mark 75 years of India’s independence.

Reflecting back on the valor and bravery of Indian soldiers, Lt Gen Joshi highlighted that the martyrs will always continue to inspire the nation and its armed forces. He said that the sacrifices made by the soldiers of the Indian Army are not only remembered but also recognized to inspire the present and future generations. Therefore, this effort of ours, Dhruv Kargil Ride, includes remembering the heroes martyred during Operation Vijay as well as reviving, rekindling and rejuvenating the spirit of patriotism among the youth.
Jawa Motorcycles also launched two new colors – Jawa Khakhi and Midnight Grey, to mark the 50th anniversary of the 1971 war victory. Ashish Singh Joshi, CEO, Classic Legends said, “Our soldiers are our true heroes and honoring their efforts in keeping our nation safe is a way of life at Jawa Motorcycles.”
Let us tell you that every year Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated in India on 26th July. 26th July is the day when tributes can be paid to our brave soldiers who defeated the Pakistani Army in the Kargil War of 1999.
