Indian Air Force Day 2021: Indian Air Force celebrated 89th Raising Day, the world saw the strength of IAF

Indian Air Force Day 2021: The Indian Air Force celebrated its 89th Raising Day (Air Force Day 2021) on Friday. On this occasion that made the country proud, a grand program was held at the Hindon Airbase located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh in the presence of the Chief of the Air Staff and senior officers of the three armed forces.

On this occasion, the Indian Air Force at Hindon Airbase depicted the victory saga of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, in which India defeated Pakistan and created a new country in the form of Bangladesh. This year, on completion of 50 years of Indo-Pakistan war, the Air Force is celebrating this year as Victory Year.

Indian Air Force planes showed their might in the sky to the world. During this, the airmen showed harmony by stepping on the parade ground, then the world heard the roar of Rafale, Tejas and Sukhoi Su-30 along with many fighter planes in the sky.

Indian aircraft and helicopters showed their strength at Hindon airbase. Indian soldiers showed their bravery through amazing feats. Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Choudhary, Navy Chief Karambir Singh, Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane and Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat were present at Hindon Airbase on the occasion of Air Force Day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings on Air Force Day and said that this part of the Indian Armed Forces is a symbol of courage, readiness and efficiency. The Air Force was established on 08 October 1932. The Air Force is an important part of the Indian Armed Forces, which performs important tasks such as air warfare, air security and air vigilance for the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary said that the swift action in response to the developments in Eastern Ladakh last year was a testament to the readiness of the Indian Air Force to deal with any situation. In his address on the occasion of 89th Air Force Day, he also said that the Indian Air Force will have to show the country that external forces will not be allowed to violate our borders.

The Air Chief said at the ceremony that as our challenges continue to grow, so is our strength and resolve to ensure that air power is put to the best use. When I look at the security landscape before us today, I feel that I have taken command at a critical time.
