Bajaj Auto has increased the prices of KTM and Husqvarna bikes in India. KTM bikes have become expensive up to Rs 8,812.
125 Cc Husqvarna
Bajaj Auto has started production of 125cc Husqvarna models (Vitpilen 125 and Svartpilen 125) at its Chakan factory in Pune. The sale of bikes will start in European markets soon, but there is no confirmed information whether they will be launched in India or not. The smaller Husqvarna bike will be based on the current 250 cc model from the Swedish bike manufacturer. Although the vehicle will be given an aggressive design, the mechanical details will be exactly like the KTM 125 Duke.
In the bike, you will be given a 125cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The engine of the bike gives 15bhp power and 12Nm peak torque. This bike comes with a 6-speed gearbox. If you talk about some important features of the vehicle, then you get full LED lighting, digital instrument cluster and swingarm mounted tire hugger. In this, you get wire spoke wheels.
Talking about the hardware, the new Husqvarna 125 model range offers WP Sourced Upside Down Telescopic Front Forks. At the same time, you get disc brakes in both of its wheels. They come with ABS.
Bajaj raised prices
Bajaj Auto has increased the prices of KTM and Husqvarna bikes in India. While KTM bikes have become expensive up to Rs 8,812, Husqvarna bikes have received a maximum increase of Rs 9,728. Interestingly, in the lineup of KTM, all models have seen different price increases.
Apart from KTM bikes, the company has also increased the prices of Husqvarna motorcycles. The price of Svartpilen has now gone up to Rs 1,99,296. That is, in this the company has increased by 9,278 rupees. At the same time, the price of Vitpilen has been made expensive by Rs 8,717. The original price of the bike has now been increased to Rs 1,98,669.
