UK-based electric bike and lifestyle brand GoZero Mobility on Thursday introduced the Skellig Lite e-bike in India, priced at Rs 19,999. The new model strikes a perfect balance between product quality and price and is best suited for riding in urban areas, the company said in a statement.
The e-bike delivers a maximum speed of 25 kmph (at moderate pedal-assist level), the statement said. GoZiro CEO Ankit Kumar said that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, people are taking their health more seriously than ever before and e-bikes are as health-friendly as private urban transport and provide protection against COVID related risks.
The bike is powered by a detachable 210 Wh lithium battery pack and a 250 W rear hub-drive motor. It is controlled by the GoZero Drive Control 2.0 LED display unit. GoZero Mobility reports that the e-bike allows the rider to choose between three pedal-assist modes.
Battery will be charged in 2.5 hours
The statement says that the battery takes about 2.5 hours to recharge. Obviously with the onset of the pandemic and the second wave, people have started taking COVID restrictions and their own health more seriously than ever. The e-bike fits well in offering an economical mode of personal urban transport and also offers daily fitness.
