Hyundai has made several changes to this retro looking electric car to give the classic a tribute. More features of today’s era have been included in this vehicle.
Hyundai Classic Pony
After 45 years of its debut, Hyundai has given the old Xalik Pony a new look. The company has now converted it into the new Hyundai Pony Heritage Series. This model is a retro modern reconstruction of the original 1975 Pony. To celebrate this, the company has opened its new brand design by Busan, which made the car look like this.
Hyundai has made several changes to this retro looking electric car to give the classic a tribute. More features of today’s era have been included in this vehicle. Whether it is about exterior paint or available technology, everything has been changed in the car. Pixel type LED lights have been given in the car, which was recently seen in Hyundai Iconic 5.
The car is seen completely changed
Based on the first generation Hyundai Pony (1975–1982), this heritage car has been given silver paint and matte finish. At the same time, a simple design bumper has been used in the front. Camera mirrors are mounted on the front fenders. With this, it has 15 inch metal wheels, round pixel front lights and U shape taillight which comes with a pixel road trip design. LED technology has been given in both.
The most important thing about the vehicle is its next look. However the Classic HD logo has now gone backward. The round headlights of LED technology have chrome housings. Retro design has also been given in chrome wheels. But they are slightly wider than the original model.
Many new features in the interior
The interior has been completely redesigned but the classic style of the original model has been introduced with full respect. Top quality materials have been used in it, in which your instrument panel, speed meter and vacuum tubes are available. You will not miss the lack of LED lighting system in the cabin.
Modern technology has also been used in the car. It has digital touch transmission, cell phone storage and new multifunctional three spoke steering wheel with voice control. Hyundai, however, has not given information about the Pony Heritage series so far. But its design clearly shows that it is completely electric.
Customers can feel frustrated after seeing so many features because this car has not been made for production. In such a situation, no one will see the old Oldie Pony back on the streets. The company took this step to promote the promotion of the new Iconic 5.
