New Hyundai i20 Begins at Dealer Yards. New i20 has LED Tail Lamps with Z-Shaped Signature
Hyundai Motor India Limited has introduced the first design sketch of the third-generation i20 for the domestic market. It has been designed keeping in mind the ‘Sense Sportiness’ styling philosophy adopted globally by the brand. The premium hatchback will be launched in India in the coming weeks with new design and new interior.
The new Hyundai i20 has started arriving at dealer yards. Many of these Indian roads have also been spotted during testing. The All New i20 is based on the Euro-spec i20 being sold for the past few months in Old Continent.
New Hyundai i20 exterior
Reports are said that the new i20 may set a benchmark again in the premium hatchback space, as it will get a luxurious interior. The 5-seater hatchback can be seen in a teaser sketch with a more aggressive exterior design. The front features a redesigned hexagonal front grille, integrating the handlamp cluster. Sharper projector headlights with integrated LED day-time running lights are visible on the redesigned front bumper, with the edges up Stretched fog lamps have been combined with Triangular black housing. Other highlights of the teaser include dual-tone appearance with black roof and thin wing mirrors. In addition, a larger windshield, sportier cut and crease, dominant character lines, new hood structure and new wheels can be seen. At the rear, the new i20 gets Z-shaped signature LED tail lamps, Hyundai and i20 badges, re-styled bumpers.
New Hyundai i20 features will be in the interior
The interior will see major changes, including a new dashboard, center console, digital instrumentation, new multi-functional steering wheel, Apple-CarPlay, Android-Auto and free-standing horizontal oriented touchscreen infotainment system with BlueLink connectivity, automatic climate control, Cruise control, chrome accents, sunroof, wireless charger, etc. The company has improved the quality of the material used inside by using fewer physical buttons on the cabin. It can be launched with a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbo petrol and a 1.5-liter diesel engine with manual and automatic transmission options.
