Honda Cars India has launched a special edition of its flagship SUV CR-V. Its ex-showroom Delhi price has been kept at Rs 29.5 lakh. The CR-V Special Edition is about Rs 1.23 lakh more expensive than the standard version of the SUV. The standard CR-V ex-showroom Delhi is priced at Rs 28.27 lakh. Honda has launched a special edition of CR-V during the festive season with the hope of increasing sales. A few changes have also been made to the CR-V Special Edition with the addition of additional features.
The Honda CR-V Special Edition is based on the facelifted CR-V model sold in international markets. In the special edition of the SUV, the front has been redesigned by giving glossy black grille instead of chrome finish grille. Integrated full LED headlamps are also used. The front and rear bumpers are new in the CR-V Special Edition, although the side profile has not been tampered with. Additional features that have been added to the CR-V Special Edition are hands-free power tailgate, new 18 inch alloy wheels, active cornering lights, LED fog lights etc.
Engine and power
The Honda CR-V Special Edition will get a 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder SOHC i-VTEC engine. It generates 152 bhp power at 6,500 rpm and 189 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm. The CVT gearbox is also provided.

Key features of the Honda CR-V’s cabin include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
