According to the information given by Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), it can cause damage if the bike is over-powered.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has informed that the company is recalling some units of the H’ness CB350 so that its faulty transmission part can be corrected. The company has given information in its statement that it is recalling the models made between November 25 and December 12 last year.
Honda has identified the use of second material grade in the counter shaft of the transmission’s fourth gear, which can damage the bike if it is over-powered. However, the company has also told that no such case has come to light yet.
The recall campaign of H’ness CB350 will start from 23 March 2021, the company is doing this process as a precautionary despite having warranty. HMSI said that this voluntary step is for Honda’s activism, which reinforces the customer confidence in us.
HMSI further said that the company will inform its customers through a call, e-mail, SMS from Friday for vehicle inspection. However, the company has not told how many bikes it is going to recall.
