Hero 100 Million Edition: Hero MotoCorp has launched 100 million editions of its two editions. The two scooters included in the list are Destini 125 and Maestro 110. The same two scooters in Hero’s scooter lineup will be made available for limited edition. Apart from this, the company has also launched 100 million editions of Xtreme Limited 160R, Splendor Plus, Passion Pro motorcycle. All Limited Edition Two Wheelers will be available in Red and White Dual Tone color scheme and will come in only one variant.
The new paint job gives both scooters a fresh look. Hero MotoCorp has placed 100 million edition badges on the front of Apron. At the same time, you also get its branding. The Hero Maestro Edge 110 100 Million Limited Variant is priced at Rs 65,250 and the Limited Variant Destiny 125 is priced at Rs 72,250 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Limited Edition Maestro has the exact same engine that is available in the standard variant. That is, it has a single cylinder unit of 110.9cc which gives torque of 8hp and 8.7nm. While the Destiny 125 has a 125cc engine that gives 8.7 bhp and 10.2nm torque.
In January 2021, Hero MotoCorp achieved a significant achievement of 100 million units in cumulative production. The unit that completed the 10 crore count was an Xtreme 160R, which was rolled out from the company’s manufacturing plant in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. This is the 20th consecutive year when Hero MotoCorp has retained the title of the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer.
The company now claims to be one of the fastest to achieve a total production capacity of 10 crore, with the last 5 crore units coming in just seven years.
