Hero MotoCorp said that in view of the current status of the COVID-19, it has extended the duration of all its warranties and free services to 60 days. The company said on Monday that for the benefit of all its existing customers, it has increased the duration of services going waste in the current period by 60 days. The company said in a statement that the period was extended to ensure that customers do not have to rush to the dealer in a hurry to avail these services.
Hero MotoCorp partially restored operations at its three plants at Gurugram and Dharuhera in Haryana and Haridwar in Uttarakhand from Monday.

Apparently almost every major car and two-wheeler manufacturer in the country has announced a similar deadline to reach customers at the present time of the challenge and to ensure that they remain in the safety of their homes. Apart from Hero MotoCorp, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, Mahindra & Mahindra and Hyundai have also announced to extend the warranty and free service for two months. Companies have taken this decision in view of the increasing cases of COVID-19.
Hero Motocorp will build a 100-bed COVID Care Center
Let the two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Motocorp establish a 100-bed capacity COVID Care Center in Gurugram in collaboration with the local administration. Hero Motorcorp said in a statement that under the ‘Hero We Care’ initiative of the company’s Social Responsibility (CSR) platform, it will support the Covid Care Center being built in Sector-14, Gurugram.
The company said that social communication chief Bharatendu Kabi said that this 100-bed COVID Care Center will help in increasing the healthcare facility in Gurugram. Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram Yash Garg said, “COVID Care Center will strengthen our medical infrastructure.”
