The country’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero Motocorp said on Thursday that it will bear the entire cost of getting the COVID-19 vaccine to its entire workforce, including permanent and temporary employees.
The company said in a statement that in addition to this, similar operations will be carried out for other group companies, Hero Fincorp, Hero Future Energies, Rockman Industries, Hero Electronics and AG Industries.
According to the statement, Hero MotoCorp is in talks with its dealers and supply chain partners in this regard. The company said that under this, there is a plan to vaccinate more than 80,000 people in the entire group, including all employees and supply chain partners.
Piaggio also announced to vaccinate all employees
Auto company Piaggio Vehicles has also announced to bear the entire cost of getting the COVID-19 vaccine to all its employees, their family members and all the other people working in the plant.
Piaggio also said that he has also partnered with a private hospital for his manufacturing plants located in Pune and Baramati, Maharashtra.

Harman International to get its 8,400 employees vaccinated
Apart from this, Harman International, a company that provides audio and video services, has also said to bear the cost of getting the COVID-19 vaccine to its employees and their dependents in India. The company, formerly owned by Samsung Electronics, said that its announcement would benefit 8,400 employees.
