EV Motors India and Hero Electric to launch rapid charging E-bikes, supercharge in 30 minutes

EV Motors India (EVM) and Hero Electric will cooperate to adopt electric vehicles. The two companies together are about to launch a rapid charging e-bikes. For this, there was a partnership between the two on Wednesday. Under this partnership, EV Motors will provide advanced battery solutions and charging infrastructure for Hero Electric Vehicles. A pilot project with some 10,000 e-bikes is planned to be launched in some cities in the next 12 months before it is launched nationally.

These solutions are specifically designed to meet the needs and expectations of last-mile delivery operators including e-commerce, online food, fleet operators and courier delivery businesses.

PlugNgo will get supercharging in 30 minutes

As part of this partnership, EVMs will install its high tech batteries in Hero e-bikes. These batteries can be supercharged in 30 minutes using the rapid charging station network “PlugNgo” produced by EV Motors. Due to the quick charge feature, the vehicle will be completely stress-free from 130 to 140 km daily. This will reduce maintenance and operating costs and will have a positive impact on the economic aspects of business units. Rapid charging stations will be set up at strategic locations including Hero dealerships and will be made publicly available for charging.

Not only this, but a strong blueprint is also being prepared to create a strong fleet of vehicles operating without any problems. For this, EV Motors is addressing many important challenges. This includes many important challenges including vehicle ownership by many people, availability of finance, EV charging infrastructure, battery performance and vehicle uptime and service-related problems.
