Musk wrote to employees last week that Tesla was facing some significant supply chain challenges during the quarter. In June, Tesla officially launched the new Model S Plaid at a delivery event in Fremont, increasing its price by 10,000 this week to a starting price of 130,000.
Features of Tesla Model S Plaid
The Tesla Model S Plaid is powered by a 1020 horsepower motor that accelerates from zero to 60mph in just two seconds. The top speed of this model of Tesla is 200mph which if seen in kilometers is 321 kmph. However, Tesla has also said that this speed can be achieved only if the vehicle is fitted with the right wheels. The company has installed 19 inch wheels in this car but customers can also install 21 inch wheels. But one thing should be kept in mind that the speed of the vehicle can go down due to putting more big tires. The company says that if this car is charged for 15 minutes, then a range of 300 km can be achieved. For this you have to use supercharger.
