The conclave was organized by Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB). Maratha Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture was also involved in this.
Through a press release, the company gave information about the features of the bus. The company said that the EKA E9 has a 200KW electric motor. It gives faster acceleration, more horsepower and more traction power. Apart from this, it gives 17 percent gradeability for walking on any kind of road. It has been given regenerative braking system.

Eka buses are designed and optimized to provide the best riding experience and best return for the customers. “With the new EKA E9, we provide a global platform for clean, efficient and profitable public transport to meet the demands of markets that want to shift to electric mobility.
This is the first electric bus in which streamlined vehicle design has been given. The bus has maximum power and range. Its Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is much lower than the existing internal combustion engine buses. It is going to prove to be one of the most durable and profitable vehicles for its customers.
