New Traffic Rules 2020 has been implemented recently, under this, if you do not sit on the bike with a child up to this age, wearing a helmet, then you may have to pay a fine.
Bike Riding With Family
If you are also one of those people who roam the whole family sitting on their scooter or bike, then you need to be careful, otherwise your big challan can be cut. We are saying this because if you place a child older than four years on your bike or scooter apart from two people, then it can be fined.
In fact, under the new Motor Vehicle Act, a child over four years of age is counted in the third ride. In such a situation, if you two people are going on a bike and there is also a child whose age is more than four years, then your challan can be cut. With this, if a single person is taking a child above four years of age on a bike or scooter, then it is necessary to wear a helmet. If a person does not do so, then he can be fined 1000 rupees under section 194A.
Children can drive such two-wheelers
If your children are insisting on buying a two-wheeler, then keep in mind that license is given at two levels in the country, the first is for 16 to 18 years and the second level is for children above 18 years of age. In this, children from 16 to 18 years can only drive a bike and scooter without gear and its engine should be of maximum 50cc. At the same time, there is no such condition for the age of 18 years.
Fines for playing horn and talking on mobile
People usually talk to mobiles while driving bikes and scooters, but doing so can be overwhelming for you. Many times it happens that we are walking in the silent zone and the call comes, then we start talking on mobile by putting the bike on the side. If you do this, then you may have to pay a fine and at the same time challan of 1000 rupees can be deducted even if you play the horn in the silent zone.
