Electric vehicles are being emphasized all over the world and continuously new companies and world’s big personalities are seen investing in electric vehicles. Some famous football player David Beckham has also done the same. He has invested in the famous vehicle electrician company Lunaz. It is a fast growing company that converts motor vehicles into electric powertrains. David Beckham is joined as an investor by the Reuben and Barclay family and by Alexandre Dell. David Beckham has acquired a total stake of 10 percent in the company.
Lunaz has achieved global leadership in vehicle electrification by working on its classic cars. In this, the company has introduced the first fully-electric Range Rover, Bentley, Rolls-Royce and Jaguar sports car in the market under its Lunaz design brand.
Ever since Lunaz started production of its first car in 2019, it has included new generation vehicles from many popular brands. This company is constantly engaged in making great cars and the main reason for its success is that people are constantly investing in electric vehicles, mainly due to the government banning the use of high-emission vehicles. Lunaz is headquartered in Silverstone, UK. It is a rapidly growing company and is now the largest company in the Silverstone Technology Cluster in terms of manufacturing space and employees.
Beckham said, “Lunaz represents the best of simplicity in both technology and design. I was fascinated by the upcycling and electrification of this company and its classic cars. David Lorenz and his team of world-class engineers are building something very special and I look forward to being a part of their development.”
The Lunaz remanufacturing and electrification process will extend the life of up to 70% of the existing weight and embedded carbon within a vehicle. This saves fleet operators significant cost compared to replacing existing vehicles with new ones.
