While Tata is planning to launch its HBX concept based mini SUV and BS6 Hexa Safari, Mahindra will launch the new generation XUV500 and the Scorpio.
If you believe the report, the production ready version of Tata HBX will be named Timero. The micro SUV will start entering the showroom before Diwali. At the same time, the final model of the vehicle can be launched in the month of May. The HBX will be built on the Alpha modular platform, while Tata’s new Impact 2.0 design language will be given in it.

Most of the design elements of the vehicle will be taken from the Harrier, especially the front look of the vehicle. In this, you will be given 86bhp, 1.2L Naturally aspirated petrol and 100bhp turbo petrol engine option. Tata has been testing the new Hexa Safari here for a long time. The model BS6 Compliant will come with a 2.2L Varicor turbocharged diesel engine that will give you 156bhp and 400Nm of torque. The oil burner will come with a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox. It will have a 4X4 drivetrain system.
Mahindra XUV500
In the second generation Mahindra XUV500 and Scorpio, many changes will be made in terms of design. Both SUVs will come with a bigger design and more powerful features. In these vehicles, more changes will be seen in The Hood inside. The 2021 Mahindra XUV500 will get 190bhp, 2.0 liter mStallion petrol and 180bhp, 2.2l diesel engine option. The 2021 Mahindra Scorpio will get 152bhp, 2.0l mStallion petrol and 158bhp, 2.2l diesel engine. The new generation of both SUVs will come with manual and automatic gearboxes.
