SMIPL said in a statement that the company had sold 34,412 units in the same month last year. The company has sold 60,589 units in the domestic market in July this year as against 31,421 units in July last year. The company had exported 2,991 units in July last year. In July this year, this figure stood at 12,494 units.

TVS Motors sales up 10 percent
TVS Motor also had a good July month as its total sales grew by 10 per cent to 2,78,855 units as against 2,52,744 units in the same period last year. The company said that the total two-wheeler sales in July 2021 stood at 2,62,728 units, as against 2,43,788 units in July 2020. In this, motorcycle sales stood at 1,38,772 units, as against 1,06,06 units in July last year. At the same time, TVS scooter sales last month stood at 74,351 units, while in July 2020 it was 78,603 units.
Bajaj Auto sales up 44%
There has been a tremendous increase in the sales of Bajaj Auto in July and its total sales increased by 44 percent to 3,69,116 units. The company had sold 2,55,832 units in the same month a year ago. Bajaj Auto said that domestic sales in July this year stood at 1,67,273 units, as against 1,58,976 units in the same period last year. In this, total motorcycle sales increased by 39 percent to 3,30,569 units from 2,38,556 units in July last year. Apart from this, the sale of commercial vehicles has more than doubled and a total of 38,547 units were sold. While exports were of 201,843 units.
Royal Enfield sales up 9 percent
Two-wheeler manufacturer Royal Enfield’s total sales in July 2021 increased by nine percent to 44,038 units. In the same period last year, the company had sold a total of 40,334 units. According to the information given by Royal Enfield, the company’s domestic sales last month stood at 39,290 units, which is four percent more than 37,925 units in July 2020. The company said that its exports increased by 97 percent to 4,748 units last month from 2,409 units in the same month a year ago.
