Maruti Suzuki’s PV wholesale volumes within the home market fell 10.2% year-on-year (y-o-y) to 121,995 items in April. The home wholesales of Hyundai stood at 44,001 items, a fall of 10.2% over the identical month final yr.

While Honda Cars India’s wholesale dispatches slipped 13.2% y-o-y to 7,874 items in April, Skoda Auto India noticed its gross sales hovering 436.1% y-o-y to five,152 items on a reasonably low base.
“The customer sentiment continues to show improvement and positivity, which is reflected in strong demand. However, the supply chain issues remain a challenge for the industry which is impacting the ability to meet the growing demand.
