BMW iX price in India
The price of BMW IX in India is Rs 1.16 Crore. This electric car has come to the country as a CBU (Completely Build Unit). There is more than one trim of this car available in the global market, but in India the company has launched this car with xDrive 40 trim. This is the base model of the car. However, in terms of range and power, it is no less than other high-performance electric cars coming to India.

The BMW iX is equipped with an attractive design, which is sure to appeal to the younger generation in India. The car comes with a red metallic finish and copper accents. The amazing and spacious grille has been given at the front, which covers the cameras, sensors and radar present in the car. It gets attractive features like flush door handles, slim LED headlamps and tail-lamps plus frameless doors.
The BMW iX xDrive 40 is capable of producing 326hp of power and 630Nm of peak torque. BMW claims that the xDrive 40 can accelerate from 0-100 kmph (kph) in just 6.1sec and has a top-speed of 200 kmph. It comes with all-wheel drive, which gets a dual electric motor set-up with one motor on each axle.
Globally, the iX is also available in a higher-spec xDrive 50 variant that produces 523hp and 765Nm of peak torque, with a driving range of up to 611km on the WLTP cycle. According to BMW, this version of the IX can accelerate from 0-100kph in 4.6 seconds.
The BMW iX xDrive 40 gets a battery pack of 76.6kWh capacity. According to WLTP Cycles, the xDrive 40 has a claimed driving range of up to 425km. The car can also be charged with a home socket of 2.3kW capacity. The battery can be charged from 0 to 100 percent in 36 hours using a 2.3kW charger. There is also a fast charger option, which can fully charge this battery pack in just seven hours.
The iX also supports DC fast charging, on the basis of which the battery pack at 50kW capacity will be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 73 minutes. Apart from this, there is also an option of 150kW charger, which can charge the battery pack from 10-80 percent in just 31 minutes.<!–
