The FSC is an independent organization that provides certification standards to products made from natural rubber. To achieve this certification, Pirelli adapted its American plants to manufacture tires using FSC certified natural rubber and rayon. Subsequently, the tires offered to BMW also meet the strict performance requirements of the auto firm, particularly including low rolling resistance and slow noise levels.
