Maruti Suzuki India Limited said in its regulatory filing that, you are informed that the prices of the company’s vehicles have been continuously affected due to the increase in input cost since the last few years. Therefore, by increasing the prices of these vehicles, it has become imperative to pass some of the burden on the customers. With this, the company further said that these prices will vary on different models.
Even before this the company has increased the price
Earlier, the company has increased the price of its cars in April due to increased input cost. In January also, Maruti Suzuki had increased the prices of some car models due to the increase in input cost. According to the different models and range of its car, the company had increased by 34 thousand rupees.
Production is back on track
After the decrease in the case of Corona, the company is now engaged in bringing its production back to the same phase so that the backlog can be cleared. Let us tell you that all the automakers had stopped their production due to lockdown and curfew, but now once again the situation is back on track. A Maruti Suzuki spokesperson said that the production has been started in the company’s plants following the safety rules.
