Vehicle maker TVS Motor has announced a support of Rs 40 crore to deal with the crisis of the outbreak of Corona infection in the country. The company is managing it in association with Sundaram Clayton and other group companies. This money will be used to provide oxygen concentrators, PPE kits, medicines and other medical equipment across the country.
TVS said in a statement that it would also distribute more than 20,000 food packets per day to two thousand oxygen concentrators and employees of essential services in hospitals and health centers in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh. In addition, more than one million masks, several thousand oximeters, PPE kits and other essential medical devices will also be provided at more than 500 government health centers.
