According to Gizmochina, Foxconn introduced the Foxtron Model C electric car on October 18, 2021 and now the brand can offer it for pre-orders at this year’s Foxconn Technology Day, which is scheduled to be held on October 18. Apart from this, it has also been reported that after starting the pre-orders of the Model C SUV, the company will start mass manufacturing this car in the first half of next year.
Talking about its features, the company claims that the Model C can accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in just 3.8 seconds. It gets an AWD drive system, which is capable of generating a maximum power of 400 hp and peak torque of 700 Nm. At present, the company has not given information about its range.
The report says that the company’s EV platform is named MIH Open Platform, an open-source solution for OEMs to develop new electric cars. The Taiwanese company is also making its cars using the same platform and aims to partner with as many OEMs as possible.
