Tiago has benefited Tata Motors a lot. That’s why the company is coming back again and again on this vehicle. We have seen the NRG before but this time the company has designed this vehicle in a special way.
Tiago has introduced it before
Tata Motors has started sharing Block Your Debt Invite for 4th August with everyone. The company has said that on August 4, there is going to be a special offer in a tough and sporty avatar. On this special date, Tata Motors is making the return of NRG to Tigao. If you remember, then let us tell you that the Tiago NRG was sold between 2018 and 2020. It was seen as a crossover model.
But the Tiago NRG was dropped as soon as the Tiago facelift was launched by the company. But now the model is ready to shine once again on the showroom floor. The Tiago NRG facelift may see a lot of changes over the old version.
what will be new
The Tata Tiago NRG facelift will get a new front look which will come with sharper grille and headlamps. At the same time, you will also get revised bumpers, new 14-inch alloy wheels. There will be bumpers from the bottom and faux skid plates at the front and rear. At the same time, the tailgate will also get black cladding which will come with the NRG badge. The ground clearance of the vehicle can be in the range of 200 to 205mm. While the standard has 170mm.
On the inside, the Tata Tiago NRG facelift is expected to come with an all-black cabin and it will come with AC air vent bezels, gearshift knob and contrast accents on the center console. It will also include more features than the pre-facelift model including a new touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, Harman sound system and more. Safety equipment will include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and more.
While the 1.05-litre diesel engine has been dropped from the Tiago range, the 2021 Tata Tiago NRG facelift will be powered only by the 1.2-litre petrol engine that develops 84 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 5-speed manual and an AMT unit, both of which could be offered on the new NRG. The new Tiago NRG facelift will compete with the Maruti Suzuki Celerio X and the Ford Freestyle. Prices are likely to start from ₹5.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
