2022 Maruti Suzuki Celerio CNG Launched: Maruti Suzuki has launched the CNG version of its new generation Celerio car today on Monday, January 17. The company has claimed that this new 2022 Celerio CNG car has the power to give a mileage of 35.60 km in one kg of CNG. On this basis, it has become one of the highest mileage cars in the country.
The price of Maruti Suzuki’s new Celerio CNG car has also been announced. The company has kept the ex-showroom price of this car in Delhi at Rs 6.58 lakh. Maruti Suzuki has launched this car only in the VXI variant, which comes above the base variant LXI. Maruti Suzuki had launched the new generation Celerio some time back, but its CNG version has been launched in the market today.
In the Celerio CNG too, the company has introduced the same dual jet, dual VVT K-series (Dual Jet, Dual VVT K-series 1.0-litre K10C naturally-aspirated) engine of the same one-litre, which is powered by its petrol version. The petrol version of this car makes 65 hp power and 89 Nm torque, while the same engine in the factory fitted S-CNG version will make 56 hp power and 82.1 Nm torque. The CNG version of the new Celerio has been introduced with a manual gearbox with 5 gears. In this, the AMT (AGS) variant is not being given like the petrol version.
In the Indian car market, the S-CNG version of Maruti Suzuki Celerio will compete with Hyundai’s two cars – Grand i10 Nios CNG and Santro CNG, apart from Tata Motors’ Tiago i-CNG coming soon in the market. Apart from this, it will also have to compete with the CNG version of Maruti Suzuki’s popular car Wagon-R.
