Agriculture can earn thousands of rupees by starting low-cost henna farming: Today we are going to tell you about one such farming (Mehndi Farming)! Henna is a multi-year shrubby crop commercially grown for leaf production! Henna is a major source of natural color! On auspicious occasions, henna leaves are grinded and applied on hands and feet for beauty! Henna leaves are also used to color white hair! Using it on the head also removes the problem of dandruff! Its leaves are also useful in skin diseases! Henna leaves are also grinded in the summer season even when there is a burning sensation in hands and feet! (Agriculture Success Story)

Agriculture can be earned by starting henna farming at low cost! Thousands of rupees

It is mostly cultivated by farmers as a rainfed crop with no fertilizer use and minimal management. Henna being a multinational shrub gives a good alternative as miniature cyclic forestry planting! Along with this, it not only keeps the soil cover constant from its leaf group residues but also contributes to the creation of a clean environment in marginal dry areas! The henna-based agro-forestry method can be a good anti-drying skill that can also help farmers to resist the effects of climate change!

Mehndi Farming is found throughout India. Sojat and Marwar Junction area of Pali district in Rajasthan is the main centre of commercial production of henna since years! The henna crop is being grown on 40 thousand hectare land here! Sojat has many factories to make powder and powder of Henna mandi and leaves. Henna is famous worldwide for its potency! Sojat exports henna on a large scale abroad!

Plantation of Agriculture (Agriculture Success Story)

Plant the nursery in early March when the maximum temperature is between 25 – 30 ° C! Prepare 10 – 10 meter long and 1! 5 meter wide 8 – 10 beds and mix dung manure! Before sowing, soak the seeds in the sack of jute for one to two days and keep changing the water! Don’t just soak, wash the seeds in running water too! Toxic (germination reducing) elements perish in the running water!

Do not sow the seeds without soaking, do not soak only once! It reduces germination! Once soaked, the fungal infection affects the germination ability of the seed, so keep changing the water! Soaking in 3 per cent solution of salt for 24 hours gives germination in 5 days! The concentration of the name should not exceed 3 per cent! The germination of seeds is adversely affected due to high salt concentration.

For a hectare field, mix 5 – 6 kg of seeds at a very fine sand rate and sow them in these beds! Do not sow seeds unevenly! It does not become more uniform and the roots will be damaged when uprooted! Keep the weeds out and irrigate as necessary 2-3 times a week! Do not let the water shortage! Plants can die due to lack of water!

Preparation of farm (Agriculture Success Story)

Mend off the field before the rainy season and with the help of laser leveller, you can level the field by uprooting undesirable plants! After ploughing with the disc and cultivator, the land becomes brittle! At the time of final ploughing of the field, 10 – 15 tonnes of rotten indigenous manure and 250 kg of gypsum per hectare can be added to the land and 60 kg of nitrogen and 40 kg of phosphorus per hectare can be used every year in standing crop (Mehndi Farming) is! Half the amount of phosphorus and half of nitrogen is added to the soil at the time of weeding after the first rain and the remaining amount of nitrogen is given after 25-30 days of rain.
