14 April (Thursday) : Banks will remain closed in all the states of the country except Meghalaya and Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti/ Mahavir Jayanti/ Baisakhi/ Vaisakhi/ Tamil New Year’s Day/ Chiraoba/ Biju Mahotsav/ Bohag Bihu.
15 April (Friday): Banks will remain closed on Good Friday/Bengali New Year’s Day (Nabvarsha)/Himachal Diwas/Vishu/Bohag Bihu except in Rajasthan, Jammu and Srinagar.
April 16 (Saturday): Banks will remain closed on the occasion of Bohag Bihu in Assam.
19 April (Wednesday): Banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on the occasion of Shab-e-Qadr/Jumat-ul-Vida.
April 21 (Thursday): Banks will remain closed in Tripura on account of Garia Puja.
Let us tell you that banks in Assam will remain closed for four consecutive days from April 14 to 21. Apart from these days, banks will remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays as well as on Sundays. In view of this, you should do your important work related to the bank.
