new Delhi: The administration has swung into action after a temple in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, was allegedly targeted. On the Bangladesh ISKCON temple incident, Kolkata ISKCON Vice President Radharaman Das said that the Bangladesh government has sent 10-12 police to the temple premises.
According to ANI, he said, we are saying that for how long we will worship by keeping the police. This is not the first time that a similar incident had happened in 2015, whatever is happening is very wrong. At the same time, after the attack on the temple, Rasmani Keshavdas, medical in-charge of ISKCON temple in Dhaka, has said that, ‘We are still getting threats. Earlier we did not get good police protection, later the higher authority was told, then we have got some police protection now, now 10 police are living here continuously.

“We received threats to leave the temple and last night 500-600 people attacked the temple,” he said. Police is supporting them, they are not listening to us. We have registered a case but have not arrested anyone yet. According to reports, a land-related dispute is being told behind the incident regarding the demolition of a temple in Bangladesh.

Local religious organizations have opposed the attack. According to reports, the police have said that the old walls of the temple collapsed when a party who owned the land was getting some repair work done.
