In the water awareness inauguration ceremony, District Magistrate Neema Arora said that water should be used wisely and with restraint and it should start with creating awareness among school and college students. For this the importance of water should be explained through various competitions at school and college level. Water should be reused as much as possible without wasting water. For this, various measures should be taken at the local level. This campaign should be run throughout the year and not for a limited time. Kalash worship with the water of rivers
In the beginning of the water awareness week, Kalash was worshiped with the water of these rivers Katepurna, Poorna, Van, Nirguna, Uma and Morna of the district. After this, the oath of attendance was administered by reciting the water pledge. Under this water awareness week, water awareness programs will be implemented in rural areas.
