About 4 lakh rupees were required for Kalyan’s eye operation. But due to the dire financial condition of his family, it became impossible for him to deposit lakhs of rupees. But under the Dadalora scheme, the District Police team under the joint aegis of Nagri Kriti Branch, Rotary Club of Police Department and Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital Savangi operated on Kalyan’s eyes at Datta Meghe Hospital Savangi. Especially with Kalyan’s eye coming out, he also had symptoms of cancer. But after operating both, Kalyan was sent back to his village on Saturday.

Vijay Sanap, the officer-in-charge of Reguntha police station said that, when I informed the senior police officers regarding Kalyan’s operation, they suggested to get the operation done immediately. At the same time, under his guidance, Kalyan was sent to Savangi’s hospital for operation. And there, after successful completion of Kalyan’s eyes, Kalyan has returned to his village.
So far, 59 people’s eyes have been operated by Reguntha Police. At the same time, efforts are being made to improve the standard of living of the tribal citizens of the area by providing them government schemes. Due to which the confidence of the people of the area has increased in the police department.
