At MWC, Oppo and Realme showed off their new fast charging standard as two separate technologies. Oppo had confirmed that its 150W SuperVOOC will be rolled out on select OnePlus phone models in the second quarter. However, the exact information about these models coming with the technology has not been revealed yet. Realme, on the other hand, had said that its 150W UltraDart Charge will hit the market exclusively with the Realme GT Neo 3.
Realme, OnePlus and Oppo – owned by China-based BBK Electronics – seem to be working hard to take on their domestic rival Xiaomi these days. All three brands have already become popular among smartphone customers across the globe. But the 150W charging technology is likely to help them reap the benefits for the first time, as Xiaomi is yet to announce any of its upcoming super fast charging technology.
