Akbarpur Kanpur dehat): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) is contesting the Goa Assembly Election 2022 to divide the Hindu votes. The Prime Minister said this while addressing a public meeting here. He said, “Election is going on in Goa, I want to tell one thing to all the voters that I saw the interview of a Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader in a Goa newspaper yesterday and the Election Commission and the Election Commission on what the Trinamool leader said. Voters should take note.”
According to the prime minister, the Trinamool leader said, “We have entered into an alliance with this party because we want to divide the Hindu votes in Goa.” Modi said, “This courage…. , is this a democracy that you openly say that you want to divide Hindu votes…. So whose vote do you want to collect? This discrimination, is this language of democracy? I want to tell the voters of Goa that this is the time to bury this kind of politics.” In his address, Modi took a jibe at the Samajwadi Party, saying that during its rule the SP had distributed areas to family members for the purpose of looting.
