Nagpur. The Electrical Contractors Association and unemployed engineers have opened a front against Mahavitaran. They say that Mahavitaran should increase the rate of getting the work done, otherwise all the contractors will come out on the road and agitate. President of Electrical Contractors Association Deva Dhore said during a conversation with reporters on Friday that all contractors do DPDC, HVDS, breakdown maintenance work of Mahavitaran.
For these works, payments are made at the old rate for the year 2019-20, whereas since the Corona crisis, the rates of cement, copper, aluminum etc. have increased by about 40 percent in the market. In such a situation, it is becoming difficult to work at the old rate. He alleged that unemployed engineers were being forced to work. Unemployed engineers are being pressurized that if they do not work, they will not be allowed to do the work of Mahavitaran in future.
