Pune: With the outbreak of Corona decreasing, the state government has started relaxing the restrictions. In this episode, the government has given news of relief for the famous Tamasha, Lavani lovers of Maharashtra. During the lockdown period, people imprisoned in homes could not be entertained. Cinema theaters also remained closed. Now for the art lovers, the government has given written approval to Tamasha-Lavani in 11 districts including Pune. Now the art lovers will be able to enjoy the sound of the Ghungroo and the sound of the Tabla.
As soon as the third wave of Corona weakens, the state government is now giving a big discount. For the past few days, various organizations including tamasha artists were demanding permission for the tamasha. Ajit Pawar also gave a positive response. After that the State Disaster Management Department has finally issued a written order regarding various cultural programs and spectacle programs.

Written orders have been issued to the district collectors of 11 districts including Pune of the state. Under this, the District Collector has been instructed to allow programs in confined or open spaces. According to the order issued by the state government in this regard, various cultural programs have been allowed in 11 districts of the state like Mumbai, Pune, Bhandara, Sindhudurg, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Satara, Sangli, Gondia, Kolhapur, Chandrapur etc. The State Disaster Management Department has directed the District Collector to allow these programs with 50 percent attendance limit. Despite the permission of the state government, there is confusion in the local administration regarding the permission. Due to this, the Disaster Management Department has now issued a written order.
Artists will get relief
This decision of the state government will now give a big relief to the artists. Earlier, tamasha was to be allowed in the state from February 1. The artists got such assurance during their meeting with NCP President Sharad Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil. This information was given by Raghuveer Khedkar, President of All India Marathi Tamasha Parishad. Earlier, Raghuveer Khedkar had threatened to set himself on fire by visiting Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s bungalow if folk artists did not perform till February 2. He made the announcement at a press conference in Narayangaon. Everything is going on all over the country, then why are the Tamasha-Lavani artists being pushed to the brink of starvation. He accused the administration of treating us like step-motherly. The government took this seriously and allowed the spectacle in 11 districts.
