Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner and Tax Valuation Officer Aparna Thete said that on the first day of the campaign to seal the property of the defaulters, three properties namely Hotel Moraya, Hotel Maitri and Kamal Enterprises located on Beed Bypass Road were sealed. As soon as their properties were sealed, those three property holders immediately paid the outstanding amount of 5 lakh 50 thousand rupees as the amount of taxes on their behalf. Taking advantage of this, Deputy Commissioner Aparna Thete appealed to the residents of the city to pay the outstanding amount of taxes on their behalf immediately in the remaining two months of the current financial year.
