New Delhi: India and West Indies are going to compete in the next month i.e. February. ODI and T20 series (IND vs WI T20 and ODI series) will be played between the two teams from 6 February. Meanwhile, West Indies have announced their 16-man squad for the upcoming three-match T20 series against India.
In this series also Kieron Pollard will lead the team. While Nicholas Pooran will be seen in the role of vice-captain. However, Shamrah Brooks and Kemar Roach have not found a place in the team in this series. Both these players will play only one-day match.

Poor performance in T20
Let us tell you that at present, West Indies remains a part of the five-match T20 series against England at home. In this series too, Pollard is seen in the role of captain. However, the West Indies team’s performance in the T20 World Cup 2021 was very poor. In such a situation, for this year’s T20 World Cup, two-time champion West Indies will have to participate in the qualifier matches.
3 ODI and 3 T20 series
The West Indies team will play three ODIs and three T20 matches on the tour of India. One-day matches will be played between Team India and West Indies from February 6 to February 11. After that three T20 matches will be played from 16 to 20 February. All the matches of the ODI series will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Whereas all the matches of the T20 series will be played at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata.
