Lucknow : In Uttar Pradesh, work is being done under the ‘Four T’ strategy. Due to which there has been a decrease in the daily cases of infection along with registering a decline in the number of active cases in the state. Door to door campaign program was organized across the state from January 24 to 29 as per the guidelines of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
This state-wide special surveillance campaign has been very effective. The monitoring committees, ASHA and the team of Anganwadi workers related to this surveillance program went door-to-door in the state and inquired about the condition of the people. In this six-day surveillance program, more than 1 lakh ten thousand symptomatic people were identified. While 239 people were immediately admitted to the hospital for treatment.

In this door to door surveillance program, apart from marking the vaccinated people, line listing of newborns who were left out of routine vaccination was also done. During the screening, the CM has given instructions to the top officials to give immediate vaccine cover to 4.18 lakh senior citizens found without vaccination. Due to the infection, routine vaccination of about 7.01 lakh newborns below 2 years of age and 2.89 lakh pregnant women are left in the state. For which also the CM has issued instructions to the officials to give the vaccine at the earliest.
Medicine kit given to more than one lakh people
So far more than one lakh people have been given medicine kits in door to door screening under the micro plan. Since the second wave of corona in the state, 79 lakh adult medical kits and more than 25 lakh children’s medical kits have been distributed by the monitoring committees. On behalf of the state government, Uttar Pradesh Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (UPMSCL) is distributing one crore medical kits on behalf of these monitoring committees.
