This year, the Beating Retreat Ceremony will be celebrated on a large scale to commemorate 75 years of Independence. For the first time in India, Indian startup Botlab will fly 1,000 drones at the Beating Retreat ceremony as a part of the light show. President Ram Nath Kovind will attend this program.
India will now become the fourth country after China, Russia and the UK to organize a large-scale drone show with 1,000 drones. This time 26 tunes will be played during the Beating the Retreat Ceremony. It will start with the Funfare tune on Bugle.
