The contract for this scheme ended on 15 June 2019, but the repair work started in the Zilla Parishad till 13 January 2020. The work done from January to December 2020 was not paid to Lakshmi Services Company.
Due to this, financial crisis arose in front of the operator and engineer of the company. Laxmi Civil Engineering repeatedly gave letters to the concerned department. Still 70 lakhs. is owed. It is not possible to continue the water supply in this situation. The company has given a letter to the Executive Engineer of the Rural Water Supply Department of the Zilla Parishad to stop the water supply service from January 31 due to non-payment of repairs.
It was told in this letter that it is not possible to continue the water supply. Due to the rising inflation, it is not possible to work according to the old contract. The entire responsibility of the site’s pumping station, Jackwell Filter Plant will be with the Rural Water Supply Department of the Zilla Parishad, the company’s outstanding bill should be given soon. The company has informed the District Collector, CEO, Chief Accounts and Finance Officer, Executive Engineer, Sub-Divisional Engineer, MLA Saheshram Korote and Jagdish Sharma, Convener of Bangaon Water Supply Scheme.
