Bhandara, ST employees’ strike continues. Meanwhile, the number of employees leaving the strike route and returning to work is increasing. Due to which the number of buses plying on the road has increased.
Mahendra Neware, head of Mechanical Department in ST Bhandara Department, said that on Monday 8 was sacked. With this, the number of employees who have been dismissed has gone up to 120.
Out of 120 sacked employees, 45 drivers, 37 carriers, 6 drivers and carriers, 15 administrative employees and 30 employees of mechanical department are included.
According to ST sources, 283 have been suspended so far. While the service of 86 has been terminated. 84 have been transferred. Whereas why not sack 198? Show cause notice has been given for this.
These employees will be able to return to work
ST has given one more chance to the employees and said that the employees on whom no action has been taken till now. They can join at work. The operation in the first phase has been completed. It comprises 20 percent of the workforce. In the second phase, action will be taken against the remaining employees.

ST sources informed that on Monday, out of the total employee strength of 1570, 317 employees appeared for work. While 20 had a weekly off. 64 employees took paid leave. 8 were sent to work in other depots. While 141 have been suspended. 1020 is still reported as absent.
6785 traveled in 196 ferry
ST Bhandara Department sources said that on Monday, a total of 68 buses were landed to serve the passengers. In which 6785 passengers traveled in a total of 196 ferries. In this, maximum 1411 traveled between Bhandara to Nagpur. After this 835 traveled between Bhandara Pawani. Wherein 569 traveled between Gondia Nagpur and 332 between Sakoli Nagpur. 647 traveled on Tumsar Bhandara route. At the same time, 583 traveled between Gondia and Tumsar.
