Japanese encephalitis: This virus is a disease found in children up to the age group of 15 years. This virus enters the body through Culex mosquito. This disease causes death of 30 percent of the patients, while in 40 percent of the patients, brain muscle is always dead. For physical and mental disabilities, children will get protection from this deadly disease by vaccination of JE.
Joint effort of health, education and child development
According to the guide line of the Central Government, vaccination is being done in the districts where its patients were found, this includes Wardha, Chandrapur, Solapur and Osmanabad. The campaign is being run with the joint effort of the Department of Health, Education and Child Development.
