Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Secretary Apoorva Chandra said in a press conference, “We have blocked these channels using the emergency provision of Section 69A of the IT Act. Their content is highly hate-mongering and serious to the unity of India. was going to do harm.”
The ministry said that among the blocked channels were 14 YouTube channels of Apni Duniya Network. Apart from this, Talha Films Network was running 13 such YouTube channels on which anti-India content was being played.
