Bhiwandi: During the investigation in an incident of mobile theft, the Chitalsar Police of Thane, last month, while taking action on the illegally running call center in New Towers compound located under Bhiwandi police station in Bhiwandi city. 195 SIM cards were confiscated. After the above disclosure, Bhoiwada Police has also arrested 3 people including a minor who sold SIM cards of various companies on the basis of bogus Aadhar card. In the above action, so far, 388 SIM cards of various companies, worth Rs 2 lakh 23 thousand 162 have also been recovered.
It is worth mentioning that the Bhoiwada police had received secret information from the informer that mobile SIM cards were being sold on the basis of fake papers at Dhamankar Naka and Gayatri Nagar Nagao Road. Senior Police Inspector Shankar Indalkar, after this information, took action under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Yogesh Chavan, Assistant Commissioner of Police Sunil Vadke, Police personnel Ramesh Atkari, Arvind Gorle, Kishore Suryavanshi, Vijay Kumbhar, Vijay Tathe under the leadership of Police Sub-Inspector Siresh Ghuge.
