Most of the people are avoiding traveling in trains by canceling their tickets. Some passengers are definitely traveling in trains originating from Nagpur, but only a few passengers are getting down here from long distance trains coming from outside.
Railway officials are not giving any official information about how many passengers are traveling daily from the station. At present, it is estimated that the number of passengers has reduced by about 50 percent. However, this time the Railways is in no mood to stop the trains. Almost all the trains of the division have been deboarded on the tracks. Following the Corona protocol, passengers are being instructed to travel in all trains. It is also being claimed to make concrete arrangements from the railway side to deal with the Corona crisis. Despite this, the fear of Corona is clearly visible among the passengers.

In such a situation, a crisis of livelihood has arisen in front of them. A large number of porters have come here from Rajasthan and adjoining rural areas. It is said that due to slow business, about 50 porters have been forced to go to their villages.
Vendor’s business too slow
Due to the shortage of passengers, the business of open restaurants and food vendors around the platform and station premises is also slowing down. Passengers traveling in trains are avoiding taking food items sold on the platform. Beverage sales are also declining. Vendors say that it has become difficult to maintain the family due to the Corona crisis.
