Malegaon : With the efforts of Agriculture Minister Dada Bhuse, new power substations of 33/11 KV at Chikhalohol and Kukane in Malegaon tehsil have been approved and Rs 7.08 crore has been sanctioned for this work. Huh. Along with this, the capacity of power substations at Ajang, Dabhadi, Virane will be increased. The original plan proposal of Rs 70 crore has been handed over to the government through Malegaon Department. With its approval, pending works related to power supply in Malegaon tehsil will be started soon, Agriculture Minister Dada Bhuse informed.
Government has implemented Krishi Vikas Yojana to provide 50% rebate in electricity bills of agriculture pumps in the state. On the appeal of straw, a large number of farmers in the tehsil have taken advantage of this scheme by paying their electricity bills. Out of the collected amount, the power company has given 30% funds to the Gram Panchayats of Malegaon tehsil for improving the power system. The Central Government has implemented a Revised Distribution Area Scheme to strengthen the power supply in the rural areas of Malegaon Tehsil.
