Aurangabad: MP Imtiaz Jalil had filed a petition in the High Court demanding a 200-bed women’s and children’s hospital in the city. Under this, the fund has also been approved in view of the availability of space on Jalna Road and the successful efforts of MP Imtiaz Jalil. At present, the construction of 400-bed hospital on Jalna Road instead of 200 is going on in full swing. MP Imtiaz Jaleel reviewed the progress of the 400-bed hospital and directed the officials of the Public Works Department to complete the quality and defect free construction work as per the work order. The officers present during the inspection gave technical information to the MP Imtiaz Jaleel about the construction of hospital and medical officers and staff quarters and the footing work of the main building of the hospital and the beam work completed at the parking level. ,
Deputy Chief Architect S.V. Gedame directed MP Imtiaz Jaleel to set up a 400-bed women’s and children’s hospital and an MCH on it. Giving detailed technical information about the hospital, he said that the construction work would be completed in a period of 30 months.

Basement parking in the main building of the hospital
The main building of the four-storey hospital will have a basement parking, a senior floor and a four-storeyed floor. Radiologists, Stationery Rooms, SSD Rooms, Histology- Septology Lab, Sonography- ECG Room, Paediatrics, Nursing-Nutrition, S-Interaction, Examination, Pediatric Wardakh OT Block, Medical, Lobby-ANC Ward, Surgery Department, Various Testing Laboratories, Deputy Chief Architect SV Gedame and other concerned officers gave detailed tantric information about various medical technical departments as well as administrative and medical officers’ offices to MP Jalil.

MP Imtiaz Jaleel had raised the issue in the assembly while being an MLA and filed a petition in the Hon’ble High Court for the immediate construction of the hospital. The Hon’ble High Court, while hearing the petition of Imtiaz Jaleel against Government of Maharashtra, has clearly stated that the entire new construction of the hospital with all facilities will be under the supervision of the Hon’ble High Court. On this occasion Superintendent Engineer of Public Works Department Vivek Bade, Executive Engineer NV. Bhande, Deputy Engineer S.D. Maheshwar, Branch Engineer R.S. Bayley, MM Azmi, architect A.A. Waghavse and other officers and employees were present.
