Nashik: The new virus Omikron of Corona is spreading its feet in the rural areas. The number of corona patients undergoing treatment at home is high. The Health Department has estimated that 15 percent of the patients reach the hospital. Keeping this in mind, the administration has become alert. Corona Care Center and Dedicated Covid Health Center have been started again for the treatment of needy corona infected patients.
At the end of December, the third wave of Corona has entered. The number of infected is increasing continuously. Many patients are being kept in home isolation. Some patients may need to be treated by a doctor. Therefore, the CEO of the Zilla Parishad, Leena Bansode, has ordered to implement COVID Care Center and Dedicated COVID Health Center in the rural premises. Accordingly, a target has been set to provide beds with oxygen supply in the rural premises.

Arrangement of 1850 beds in DCHC
Dedicated COVID Health Center facility will be available for the patients of rural campus to get treatment for corona infection near their village or village. DCHC patients will get service in rural hospital and primary health center. In this way, 1850 beds have been arranged at total 43 places. A minimum of 30 to 40 beds in each rural hospital and primary health center and a minimum of 50 beds in each sub-district hospital at the tehsil level will be provided at the local level.
