Kia India has announced that the bookings for the new Kia Carens have started from today i.e. Friday. Car interested customers can book the premium MPV for Rs 25,000 through the official website of Kia India and dealerships across the country.
Apart from this, customers can also book cars of their preferred variants sitting at home through this link https://www.kia.com/in/buy/pre-booking.html. The official launch of the car is expected soon.
The Kia Carens MPV is the company’s fourth product in the Indian market after the Kia Seltos, Sonnet and Carnival. The MPV will compete with rivals like Maruti Suzuki XL6, Mahindra Marazzo, Toyota Innova Crysta and Hyundai Alcazar.

The MPV will be manufactured locally in India, which will be exported to 90 overseas markets of the world, including both left-hand and right-hand drive markets. The 3-row vehicle will be offered in 5 trim variants, namely Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus, the company said in a statement.
The Kia Carens MPV will be available in 8 color options – Imperial Blue, Moss Brown, Sparkling Silver, Intense Red, Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Glacier White Pearl and Clear White. Kia India claims that the Carrence is a perfect blend of the style of a premium SUV and the practicality of an MPV.
The company claims that many first-in-class features are available in it. The MPV will come with a design that is completely different from other Kia cars available in India. It also gets a new touch-based panel and ambient light underlining with toggle switch for HVAC control.
The center console is smaller and has additional control controls for seat ventilation, drive mode, etc. The Carens will be available in both 6- and 7-seat configurations. This upcoming car of Kia was first introduced by the company on 16 December. This car is equipped with great features with a strong look.

Transmission options for the Kia MPV will also include a six-speed manual gearbox, a seven-speed DCT automatic gearbox and a six-speed automatic unit. Although the company has not disclosed its prices yet, it is being speculated that Kia Carens can come to 13-17 lakhs in the Indian market.
