Nagpur. Corona virus showed its havoc in 2 waves. Many lost their families. Many families were destroyed. Both the parents of many children died due to corona virus. Now the third wave has also started and is rapidly taking the citizens in its arms. Around 2,000 corona positive patients have been found within the last 4 days. Despite this, there is no sign of seriousness among the residents. Masks have been considered as the most effective remedy against corona, but despite the situation being critical, the masks are missing from the faces of the people walking in the market areas. There is no doubt that such people are putting their lives as well as their families and others in danger.
Big challenge to stop the crowd
Corona has taken a formidable form in the city. The senses of the administration have been blown away. More than 10,000 tests are being done every day. Despite this, on Sunday, the sight of the crowd in Sitabardi’s hot market remained the same. There was a presence from children to old people in this crowd. The talk of social distancing remained away, people did not even have masks on their faces. Even though the state government and the local administration have imposed a ban on being seen with more than 5 people by imposing section 144. The number of people in weddings and funerals should be limited. Despite this, controlling the crowd in the market areas is proving to be a difficult task.
Careful education starts from the family
In the first and second wave, the people who suffered the bite of corona said in one voice that surprisingly even those people, who call themselves educated and highly educated, are seen without masks. Mohan Ghode, a resident of Chhatrapati Nagar, said that what is the use of such education which puts the life of others in danger. In the markets, many youths are seen expressing friendship with their hands on their shoulders, but both the friends do not have masks on their faces. It is like pushing your friend towards death through Corona. At the same time, how can many young parents take their innocent children to the crowded markets. All this is astonishing. This education will not come under the strictness of the government or the police. Rather, only the family members will have to give this education to each other in their home.
The entire system should be handed over to the police
Social activist Anand Tiwari said that strict legal action should be taken against those who roam without masks by registering a case under section 328 as such people endanger the life of others. When this section can be imposed against those selling gutka and tobacco, then it can also be done against those without masks. After all, in both the situations the life of others is in danger. It is better that the entire work of getting people to follow the law should be entrusted to the city police. Today, just as people do not leave the house without a helmet due to the fear of the police, in the same way no one will be able to see without a mask in public places.
